First kiss!

There are tons of fun pictures I have yet to post on the blog, but I had to post this one first! Jocelyn got her first kiss from her buddy Paul today in the Children's garden at the Huntington Library. How romantic! Pictured above is not the actual first kiss, but the THIRD kiss - there were many more to come throughout the day. :) They are so cute together. If they get married some day, we can tell them that this is how it all began.

Travel Town

We took J to Travel Town in Griffith Park. Her favorite part was riding the little train around. She has been loving trains lately and she thinks that all trains are called Thomas. Whenever we go by the Mission Gold Line station she says "Where's Thomas?" and then yells "Thomas!" when the train goes by.

Sundays

On Sundays, we have family dinner with my parents. Jocelyn LOVES going over to look at all of Grandma's flowers and to just run around in a real backyard. Thanks for all the (vegetarian) food, Mom!

California Science Center

We went to the California Science Center a few weeks ago and had lots of fun. Jocelyn's favorite exhibit was the one with incubating eggs and newly-hatched chicks. When we went to the McDonald's in the museum, she asked for fries. (Trent and Joss like to go to McDonald's when I'm not around apparently. I find Happy Meal toys that Trent tells Joss not to show me, ha ha.) She also loved the Rose Garden outside and of course all the birds in the water fountain.

Punky

Jocelyn enjoys pulling clothes out from her drawers and picking out her own outfits. Not exactly what I would have picked but I still think she's adorable. These outfits remind me of something Punky Brewster would wear. )

Hiking

We bought a cool hiking backpack to carry Joss around in and it has been great so far! We went hiking in Eaton Canyon and Trent has been to some other fun places with his friends. Best of all, Joss loves it and she falls asleep in the backpack! We are so excited to use it in Colorado. Less than two months to go!!

Pumpkin Head

Well it has been a very long time since I have posted! We had a near catastrophe recently. Our computer started dying and we managed to save all our pictures right before the hard drive finally gave out. We are now going to backup all of our pictures on a free website (mesh.com) and we are also going to buy an external hard drive soon. It was scary, but thanks to my sister Marie and her boyfriend Will, we got a sweet new computer and all of our memories are safe! So here is our latest movie of Joss for your enjoyment. She was having a lot of fun with Dad and Grandma and Grandpa Giron. Make sure you watch to the end.

a little movie

Here is a little movie I made tonight. Jocelyn is talking so much and it is hard to catch it on video. Every time we bring out the camera or video camera, she wants us to show us all the pictures/movies of her and her favorite people. She is really starting to copy whatever we say. It is so cute when I say "Hi baby" to her and she says it right back. She is learning other people's names and is still asking where her cousins Coco and Ryan are (Utah and Idaho). Yesterday was the first time she said "I love you" to me without me prompting her. And we taught her the "Who loves mommy? . . . I do" thing because our friends Paul and Eunnie did it with their son. She is almost 1.5 years old!
