Today Trent got promoted to Sergeant! Jocelyn and I went to watch the ceremony which was fun for us. All the Army people love Joss and think she is so well-behaved. (Which she is during the day . . . last night she woke up twice!!) The big surprise was that they let me promote Trent. I got to "pin" him with his new rank. Actually, there was no pin involved because the new uniforms incorporate a lot of Velcro. :) So after I velcroed him, I had to hit him as hard as I could in the middle of his chest. Yep, that was what I was instructed to do. Trent wasn't expecting that at all and his body swayed a little bit. Everyone else laughed and said "Hoo-ah" (sp?) in typical Army fashion. Congratulations, Trent!

Hello Angela! How are you doing? Thank you for the well wishes... it has been 2 weeks and I am feeling quite a bit better. I put on jeans this morning and they only stayed on for an hour. We'll have to ease into those! Sadie is great, life is good. what is going on with your studies?
