Happy (Belated) Birthday, Dad!

Thanks for coming to visit, Heather!

Yummy

Bath time!

As you can see, Jocelyn grew out of her baby bath tub and we decided to introduce her to the big girl tub. She loves it! And we love it too - now that we can distract her with some new fun toys.

Some random shots

Some Joss updates: she can roll over both ways and can Army crawl pretty well. It is so hilarious. She can say d's, g's, and b's, but no m's yet. :( Jocelyn has tried sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, peas, spinach, applesauce, and bananas. She can clap and can lift her arms up when she wants to be held. We still love her like crazy!

Another big day

Match Day 2008! We are going to stay here for one more year for my general medicine internship at Huntington Hospital. Then we'll be off to Denver, Colorado for a three-year dermatology residency. Trent can't wait to take Jocelyn to Rockies games. I will finally try to learn how to ski. :)

Trent's big day

Today Trent got promoted to Sergeant! Jocelyn and I went to watch the ceremony which was fun for us. All the Army people love Joss and think she is so well-behaved. (Which she is during the day . . . last night she woke up twice!!) The big surprise was that they let me promote Trent. I got to "pin" him with his new rank. Actually, there was no pin involved because the new uniforms incorporate a lot of Velcro. :) So after I velcroed him, I had to hit him as hard as I could in the middle of his chest. Yep, that was what I was instructed to do. Trent wasn't expecting that at all and his body swayed a little bit. Everyone else laughed and said "Hoo-ah" (sp?) in typical Army fashion. Congratulations, Trent!

Jocelyn in action

Jumping! Nice cankles and thunder thighs - as Dad likes to call them.

After eating rice cereal for the first time. Get in my belly!
